Temperatures likely to rise in coming days

THIRUVANANTHAPURAM: High temperatures are expected to continue in the state in the coming days. A yellow alert has been issued in several districts as temperatures are likely to rise until Sunday. Palakkad may see temperatures up to 40°C, Kollam up to 39°C, and Kottayam up to 38°C.

In Thiruvananthapuram, Pathanamthitta, Alappuzha, Ernakulam, Thrissur, Malappuram, Kozhikode, Kannur, and Kasaragod, temperatures may go up to 37°C. On Thursday, the highest temperature in the state was recorded in Palakkad at 39.6°C.
