The recent assembly election and the results have personally touched me. This was the first election without my father's presence. His voice, which always analysed every political development from the people's perspective, is now missing for both me and the state.
My father always believed that true politics is about realising the pulse of the people. I have understood that he found energy and strength among the masses. He was also well aware of how seriously people view even small deviations from ideals.
It is time for movements to return to their roots, to the old strength that focused on justice for common people, protection of the environment, and the fight against corruption. The will of the people will always be on the side of what is right.
