In a video posted on his birthday, YouTuber ‘Thoppi’ confessed about his battle with depression and said it was time to take back his fictional character ‘Thoppi’ from social media.

” It may seem funny for many but I’m backing out from social media. In my last live streaming, I mentioned going to my home but it ended up sour. My family turned their back on me. They hesitated to entertain me in the house. What is the point of all this fame and money if our family renounces us? Don’t mistake my monologue to be spirited under the influence of any drugs or alcohol. I can swear upon my mother that I am sober now.

I came live because today is my birthday. In my life, I haven’t suffered such pain on a single day. The incident battered me and left me speechless. I hope you understand. I’m leaving this character ‘Thoppi’ and is planning a return to be Nihad. It is better that I live a real life rather than face humiliation.

There is no point if we face such repulsive faces from our family. ‘Thoppi’ died and now you will see Nihad. I don’t know if I can survive if I stop live streaming.”
