Director Manu passes away before the release of his dream movie

KOTTAYAM: Film director Manu James (31) passed away ahead of the release of his first Malayalam movie. He died while undergoing treatment for jaundice at Rajagiri Hospital, Ernakulam. Manu is the director of the film 'Nancy Rani' starring Ahana Krishna, Dhruvan, Aju Varghese and Lal. The post-production work of the film was going on. The unexpected demise comes just days before the release.

In 2004, he acted as a child actor in the film 'I Am Curious' directed by Sabu James. While in the USA, Manu worked as an assistant director in around seven English films, Malayalam, Kannada and Hindi films. He is the son of Kuravilangad native James Jose and Cicil James. Wife: Nainu.
