54-year-old man commits suicide as bank employees threaten him in front of sons-in-law for not repaying loan

ALAPPUZHA: A coir factory worker was found hanging. The incident happened in Kanjikuzhi Kunjaruveli. 54-year-old Sasi committed suicide. The repayment of the bank loan he took for his daughter's wedding was delayed. Relatives also say that the bank employees came to the house yesterday and threatened Sasi.

Shashi took a loan from Axis Bank by mortgaging the house. The family alleges that the bank employees came to the house and threatened him after the repayment was delayed. Sasi was threatened in front of his sons-in-law. The staff also took photos of the house. The brother said that Sasi was depressed because of this and had committed suicide.
