Fight in Madhya Pradesh between Gandhiji and Godse

NEW DELHI: Congress leader Rahul Gandhi said that the assembly elections in Madhya Pradesh will be a battle between the ideals of Gandhiji and his assassin Godse. Rahul was addressing a rally in Shajapur, Madhya Pradesh.
Madhya Pradesh has become the epicentre of corruption. BJP has done unparalleled corruption. He mentioned the Vyapam scam, MBBS seat sale, question paper leak etc. 18,000 farmers committed suicide during 18 years of BJP rule. Farmers have to pay taxes for the first time in history. BJP works for a few billionaires. Adani's footprint can be seen in ports, airports and infrastructure development projects. Rahul also said that the projects started by the Kamal Nath government, which were blocked by the BJP, will be resumed when the Congress comes back to power.

Modi has not given anything to OBCs: Rahul

Rahul also alleged that Prime Minister Narendra Modi has not given anything that OBCs deserve.

He reiterated the allegation that out of 90 influential Union Secretaries, only three are OBCs. To ensure the participation of OBCs in the policy-making process in the country, their exact number should be known. A caste census is essential for that. A caste census will be conducted as soon as the Congress government is formed at the Centre. BJP did not release the caste census data conducted by the previous Congress government out of fear that the people would know the truth. Rahul said that even though the BJP says that it has many MPs and MLAs from the OBC category, decisions are taken by the RSS and officials.

Former Chief Minister Kamal Nath, Madhya Pradesh AICC General Secretary Randeep Singh Surjewala and senior leader Digvijaya Singh were also present.
