Missing school student and relative found dead on railway track in Angamaly

KOLLAM: A missing schoolgirl and her relative were found dead on a railway track near Valathungal, Kollam. Vismaya (15), a native of Akkolil and a Class 10 student at Mayyanad School, and Abhilash (21), her close relative from Kannalloor, were found dead in the incident.

Their bodies were discovered near the railway station in Angamaly. Reports indicate that they were struck by a train heading towards Thrissur early this morning.

Vismaya went missing yesterday. She left home yesterday morning on the pretext of going to school. Her parents panicked after she failed to return by 6 PM and later learned that Vismaya didn't attend school yesterday. They subsequently filed a police complaint. While the police investigation was underway, Vismaya was found dead alongside a relative after being struck by a train.
