NEW YORK: At least 22 people were killed and many injured in a shooting in the city of Lewiston, Maine, USA. Reports said more than sixty people were injured. The incident happened Wednesday evening. It is hinted that Robert Card is behind the shooting. The authorities have released the picture of the suspected attacker. Robert was former instructor of the US Army Reserve. The police said Robert was suffering from mental illness and had recently been discharged from a mental health facility.

International media reported that the shooting first occurred in a bowling alley at a sports center in Lewiston. Following this, there were reports of gunfire at a bar and a Walmart distribution center. In the event that the assailant is not caught, the authorities have issued strict caution to the people. A notice was issued asking people not to leave the house. The assailant, wearing a brown shirt and black pants, opened fire with a sophisticated semi-automatic rifle.
