Manju Pathrose on being body shamed on train

manju-pathrose

Actress Manju Pathrose narrated the incident of being body shamed while talking at Mathrubhumi Akshrotsavam. The incident took place when she was returning from a programme held in Mahi the other day. The actor also stated that someone body shamed him on the train.

‘When I entered the train with my bags, saw a man sitting next to my seat and staring at me. He asked me whether I was Manju. His next question was where I was going and about my weight. He then talked about my colour. He said that I don’t have this colour when seen in TV. I was shocked when heard that. Finally, I told him that when you see someone for the first time, should ask him or her whether they are fine and then I stopped my conversation,’ she said.

A lot of people have asked me what should be done to get some colour. People who go to see new born babies, will first look at the baby’s ears. If the baby’s ears are dark, then the baby will be dark in colour, she said.
