Mammootty turns 73, birthday celebration with family, new film poster unveiling highlight the day

THIRUVANANTHAPURAM: Mammootty, the iconic star of Mollywood, celebrates his 73rd birthday today. The occasion will be marked by a simple family gathering at their home in Kochi, with his wife Sulfath, son Dulquer Salmaan and daughter Surumi in attendance. This year, Surumi is taking on the special task of designing the birthday cake. Mammootty will unveil the first look of his upcoming film, produced by Mammootty Kampany and directed by Gautham Vasudev Menon.

In addition to the celebrations, a significant charitable initiative is taking place. Under the auspices of the Mammootty Fans and Welfare Association International, 30,000 people across 17 countries will donate blood today. Last year, the association saw a remarkable turnout, with a quarter of a million people participating in blood donation drives.
