Engineering student drowns in temple pond in Thrissur

THRISSUR: An engineering student drowned in a temple pond in Thrissur. He has been identified as Sreehari (22) of Adattu Udalakkavu. He drowned at the Sree Mahavishnu Temple Pond in Puranattukara Friday morning. He is the son of Chandrasekharan Master, former panchayat president of Arimbur.

The incident happened when he came to bathe with his father at 5.30 am this morning. He went missing while bathing. The fire force was informed immediately. His body was found in a search conducted by the scuba team of Thrissur Fire Force.
