THIRUVANANTHAPURAM: Posters targeting BJP leader V.V. Rajesh have surfaced across Thiruvananthapuram. The posters have appeared in front of Rajesh's residence and on walls near the BJP state committee office. They accuse Rajesh of being responsible for the defeat of Rajeev Chandrasekhar, the BJP candidate in the Thiruvananthapuram constituency, during the previous Lok Sabha elections. The posters are being circulated under the title 'BJP Reaction Platform. '
The posters demand action against VV Rajesh for allegedly engaging in financial fraud during the elections. They also claim that Rajesh has amassed wealth illegally and call for the Enforcement Directorate (ED) to conduct an investigation against him. The posters state that Rajesh was the one who took money from the Congress in the Thiruvananthapuram Lok Sabha election and caused the party's defeat. They also demanded his expulsion from the party. The posters demand a detailed investigation by the party into Rajesh's financial growth over the past 15 years.
Meanwhile, VV Rajesh has stated that he does not want to respond to the posters. He said that he has filed a complaint with the Thiruvananthapuram City Police Commissioner regarding the matter. The complaint states that there is no truth whatsoever in the statements in the poster. Rajesh further stated that the posters, which have appeared in both English and Malayalam under the name BJP Reaction Platform, aim to tarnish his reputation and public image built over the past three decades. Rajesh has demanded swift action against the culprits responsible for the posters.
