Renowned psychologist PM Mathew Vellore passes away

THIRUVANANTHAPURAM: Renowned psychologist and author Dr PM Mathew Vellore (87) passed away on Monday due to age-related ailments.
After completing his post-graduation and PhD in Psychology from Kerala University, Mathew Vellore went on to become a lecturer at Vellore Christian Medical College. He had also served as the chief of Psychology, Philosophy, Education departments of the Kerala government.

He had written over 20 books on psychology such as 'Dambathya Prashnangal' and 'Manasika Prashnangal'. He had also presented psychology-related programmes on media.

His funeral will take place at Karippuzha near Mavelikkara on Tuesday.
