Woman found hanging in Kollam, slits wrist

KOLLAM: A woman who was missing from Kadakkal was found hanging. She has been identified as Indiramma of Kadakkal Chingeli Sree Mandiram. The 61-year-old left home the other day following some family issues. The family lodged a complaint as she did not return after a long time.

In a search conducted by the police, she was found hanging in a rubber plantation on the MC road at Murukkumannil near Chadayamangalam. Her wrists were found slit. There were signs of an attempt to hang on another tree nearby. The body has been shifted to Paripally Medical College for post-mortem.
