THIRUVANANTHAPURAM: KPCC president K Sudhakaran on Tuesday said that the CPM has stooped to new lows in such a way that it has started welcoming defectors and opportunists to the party. "It is shocking to see the AKG Centre turning into a mere waste collection centre by collecting all the wastes expelled from the Congress. The CPM has not been able to lay hands on anyone who had not faced disciplinary action," Sudhakaran said. Sudhakaran was responding to the news of former KPCC general secretary KP Anilkumar leaving the Congress and joining the CPM.

"The CPM, which has kept the party and its ranks at Pinarayi's gunpoint, is happily welcoming those expelled from the Congress. This shows that the CPM has stooped to new lows. The joke is that those who say that there is a dictatorship in the Congress are bowing down before Pinarayi," he said.
