Music director MS Baburaj's wife Bicha Baburaj passes away

KOZHIKODE: Famous music director MS Baburaj's wife Bicha Baburaj (83) passed away here on Sunday. She died at her daughter's house in Kondotty.

She is the daughter of Moitheen and Bichamini, of Kundungal in Kozhikode. She got married to Baburaj in 1956. Throughout his musical career, Bicha stood by him. Children: Sabira, Deedar, Gulnar, Abdul Jabbar, Shamshad, Roshna, Zulfikar, Farhad and Shamna.

In-laws: PP Ibrahim (Kondotty), Hyder Ali (Tiruchirappalli), Mamukoya, Rukza (Kozhikode), Abdu (Kozhikode), Zaira, Aziz, Nish and Zulfikar.

The funeral will be at 9.30 am today at Mathottam Masjid Qabaristan.
