RIYADH: Saudi Arabia has partially reopened King Khalid International Airport in Riyadh amid continued provocations by Yemen's Houthi rebels. Operations have resumed at two terminals.
Airport operations had been suspended on the 10th of this month following a Houthi attack that claimed 13 lives. Several airlines have cancelled their services to Saudi cities.
The Houthis launched ballistic missiles and drones towards Riyadh on Sunday, but Saudi forces intercepted and destroyed them. However, falling missile debris in Khamis Mushait and Ahad Rafidah injured two people. Several buildings and vehicles were also damaged.
Missile debris also fell in the Mecca and Medina regions. Saudi Arabia retaliated by targeting Houthi positions in Sanaa, Yemen. The Houthis also claimed to have attacked an Aramco oil facility and pipelines in Yanbu.
