The trailer of Toxic, directed by Geetu Mohandas and starring pan-Indian superstar Yash, who rose to nationwide fame through KGF and KGF: Chapter 2, has been released. The trailer is packed with action, violence and glamorous sequences. Geetu Mohandas’ emotional words about actor Yash at the trailer launch have also drawn considerable attention.
Speaking emotionally at the trailer launch, Geetu said
‘Many have asked me what it is like to work with Yash. He is not just my favourite producer, a brilliant actor or my co-writer; he is something much deeper and more emotional. I don’t know what my journey will be like after this film, but I will always carry a part of Yash with me. When many people doubted my abilities, Yash was the one who believed in me. Yash has been my biggest source of inspiration throughout this journey. Every conversation I had with him was valuable to me. I would also like to express my heartfelt gratitude to the hundreds of people who have been part of this film.'
Meantime, Toxic is Yash’s film to be released after a four-year gap. The film stars Kiara Advani, Nayanthara, Huma Qureshi, Rukmini Vasanth and Tara Sutaria in prominent roles. Shot simultaneously in Kannada and English, Toxic will be released in multiple languages, including Hindi, Telugu, Tamil and Malayalam.
