‘I literally got down on my knees crying and begging him not to leave, but people are spinning a different story’ 

Arya is an actress and television anchor popular among the Malayalees. She rose to fame through the show Badai Bungalow aired in Asianet. She later carved out a niche for herself in films as well as in television hosting. Arya has also participated in Bigg Boss. Arya has now revealed that when she came out of Bigg Boss, her life was in a state of confusion. The actress opened up in an interview with Aswathy Ashok Vishal’s YouTube channel.

‘The one I thought would support me the most was not there when I returned from Bigg Boss. You could say that he had left me. He had happily sent me off to the show, but when I returned, he was no longer there. It was a terrible situation. I felt as though I had fallen into a deep pit. I even had thoughts of suicide. There were nights when I stayed awake without sleeping at all. I kept wondering whether he was still with me or not.

Even though he had said publicly that we were not in a relationship, he continued to communicate with me. When someone changes the way, they have treated us for three years, we can understand it quickly, can't we? I spent nearly a year trying to get clarity about the situation, but he kept giving me hope. I don't know what to call that situation. That was the state I was in. Many tried to make me understand what was happening, but I wasn't ready to listen to any of them. Eventually, I realised it myself. It wasn't something I suddenly felt one day; it took time for me to understand it.

I begged a lot. We should never beg anyone for love, but I begged him a lot. I cried and even held his feet, asking him not to leave me. Many people still don't know that he had actually betrayed me. Some people say that he left me because of the way I behaved in Bigg Boss. There are even people who believe that. I had to hear all of this, and that made it even harder.

I couldn't let go of that relationship. That's why I begged him to stay. But it didn't work. Eventually, I realised the truth myself. It wasn't easy at all. It took me a long time to come to terms with it,’ Arya said.
