‘I tried to get pregnant before marriage,’ reveals actress Swara Bhasker

Actress Swara Bhasker revealed that she considered having a child through IVF before marriage. She said that she underwent two rounds of IVF. Believing marriage was unlikely, she explained that she sought treatment out of a strong desire to have a child. She opened up about this on the show 'Rise and Fall Season 2.

‘I thought of experiencing motherhood at a time when marriage was not on the cards. I first spoke about having a child through IVF with my parents. I had convinced them that I was not going to get married, but naturally, it took them some time to come to terms with that decision.

They warned that making such a decision and living in a country like India is highly challenging. However, as her decision was firm, she underwent IVF treatment. She tried to conceive twice through an anonymous donor, but both attempts failed.’

She met Fahad Ahmad in 2020 and later got married in 2023. They were blessed with a baby girl in the same year itself.
