The old feud between Bollywood star Hrithik Roshan and actress and BJP MP Kangana Ranaut reopened over a social media post the other day. Writer Freddy’s post asking "The world should apologise to Hrithik Roshan" saw a response from Hrithik himself, which later spiralled into a war of words. Kangana came forward to accuse Hrithik of encouraging trolls against her and demanded that he stop making such comments.
Following the post, Hrithik clarified that he would be staying away from the controversies. Hrithik also said that he will wait until the truth comes out. "Friend, it is a problem in our society to blindly support someone just because you like or hate someone more. Let us understand the true nature of things with proper evidence. That would be fair, but then who cares anymore?” wrote Hrithik on social media.
Hrithik's response went viral and social media users interpreted it as a reference to his old dispute with Kangana. Hours after Hrithik's response, Kangana made an aggressive response.
“Dear Hrithik, I am happy that you found in Saba Azad a good partner compatible with you. You are in a good relationship now, so it is not right for you to talk about another woman like this. Instead, you should oppose those who are abusing and harassing me. I hope you will stop pouring oil on a fire and stop saying such nonsense again,” Kangana wrote.
In an interview in 2016, Kangana called Hrithik Roshan a 'stupid ex-boyfriend'. However, Hrithik later clarified that they had never been in a relationship. The two then went into a major legal battle. Even after almost ten years, the old controversy rarely resurfaces on social media.
