PATHANAMTHITTA: The final schedule of shooting for Mohanlal-starrer Athimanoharam has resumed at Pamba. The film has been in the news in recent days after the Forest Department denied permission to shoot in areas of the Periyar Tiger Reserve stretching from Pamba to Sannidhanam.

Currently, permission has been granted to shoot only in areas up to Pamba that fall under the Ranni Forest Division. The team is now filming at locations where permission has been granted by the court. Meanwhile, visuals of Mohanlal appearing in a police uniform from the shooting location have surfaced.

Athimanoharam marks the reunion of Mohanlal and director Tharun Moorthy following the blockbuster success of Thudarum. Mohanlal plays Sub-Inspector Lovelajan in the film, while Meera Jasmine stars as the female lead.

The film also features an ensemble cast including Mukesh, Jagadish, Manoj K. Jayan, Irshad, Vishnu G. Warrier, Pramod Veliyanad, Kiran Peethambaran, Viji Viswanath, Bhama Arun, Prarthana and Sajeevan.

The story and screenplay are written by Ratheesh Ravi, while Shaji Kumar is the cinematographer. Jakes Bejoy has composed the music for songs written by Vinayak Sasikumar. Binu Pappu serves as co-director, while Vivek Harshan handles the editing.

The film is produced by Ashiq Usman under the banner of Ashiq Usman Productions.
