Unnikannan with Vijay: Social media celebrates fanboy's latest post

Unnikannan, a native of Mangalam Dam, might now be feeling content with his life. Meeting actor Vijay was a dream for this Palakkad native, but it soon became a tool for many to ridicule him, following his previous successful attempts. It seems like nobody would bother to mock Unnikannan again if they chance to see the latest post shared by the fanboy.

Unnikannan shared a photo he took with Vijay at the set of the movie Jana Nayagan. It is understood that the picture was taken amidst Vijay filming a fight sequence. The post is now going viral and has amassed more than a lakh likes even within an hour of posting. Actor Chandu Salim Kumar shared the news on his story, while many other celebrities came in to praise Unnikannan.

Unnikannan, a fan of Vijay, has been trying to meet the superstar for years. Videos and news of Unnikannan going to meet Vijay surfaced in January 2025. The video of Unnikannan taking blessings from his father and mother before going to meet Vijay also went viral on social media.

Meanwhile, Jana Nayagan, which has crossed the 300 crore collection mark, is gearing up for an OTT release. The film's OTT streaming is on Zee5. Streaming will start on August 21. H Vinoth is the director of the film.
