The salary of the President is Rs 5 lakh. Murmu will get this amount. Apart from the salary, the country provides other benefits and facilities to the President. In addition to accommodation, lifelong treatment facilities are also provided.

Being the person who gets the most security inside and outside the country, the President is provided with a Mercedes-Benz S600 Pullman Guard for travel. Apart from this, a limousine car can also be used for official purposes.

Murmu will now move from Odisha to Rashtrapati Bhavan in Delhi, the official residence of the President of India. Apart from this, the central government spends around Rs 2.25 crore every year for President's accommodation and for receiving guests.
