BENGALURU: The Indian Space Research Organisation (ISRO) centre in Bengaluru received a bomb threat on Thursday. A bomb threat reached the ISRO headquarters in Bengaluru this afternoon through an email.

The threat message was sent to the office of ISRO Chairman Dr V. Narayanan. Later, the police and the bomb squad reached the spot and conducted an inspection. However, the threat seemed to be a hoax.

The police said that an investigation is underway to find the person who sent the threat message. The police also said that they suspect that the message came from outside the country.
