NEW DELHI: The Cockroach Janata Party (CJP) threatened to intensify protests if the demands suggested to the central government are ignored. CJP spokesperson Ashutosh Ranka said that the protest until now was just a trailer and that millions of protesters will come to Delhi, worsening the situation. The claim that the police used pellet guns on CJP workers during the protest held the previous day turned out to be true.

The hospital report confirmed that a pellet was removed from the injured protester's eye through surgery. The hospital authorities also said that the pellets from his chest and neck will be removed. There are also allegations that the use of pellet guns in this way is a violation of human rights. So far, the Delhi Police registered ten cases in connection with the CJP protest.

Meanwhile, BJP called the protesters anti-nationals. Dubious videos were circulated showing protesters pelting stones at India's first hydrogen train, which was inaugurated by the Prime Minister the other day. Social media accounts affiliated with BJP are busy portraying the students as goons. The video was also shared on the official X account of the RSS mouthpiece Panchajanya, claiming that CJP workers carried out violence. However, in reality, the stones were pelted by exam candidates who were angry over the delay of the train in Bihar.

Meanwhile, Congress is preparing to intensify its protests after the arrest of Rahul Gandhi and Priyanka Gandhi Vadra yesterday. Congress MPs have reached Parliament wearing black clothes as part of the protest. The Congress will decide how to protest after consulting the leaders of the India Alliance led by Mallikarjun Kharge. Emergency resolution notices have been given in the Lok Sabha and Rajya Sabha on the issue.
