NEW DELHI: African-American singer Mary Millben alleged that the Cockroach Janata Party (CJP) and its founder, Abhijeet Dipke, are receiving funds from the United States to create unrest in India. The donors are individuals who oppose Prime Minister Narendra Modi. Millben urged the youth of India to protest against the CJP. She also shared a post on X, appealing to young patriots: "It is time for India's young patriots to wake up and take action. You must organise against the CJP and Dipke without fear."
"Protests must be conducted peacefully. This is not the time to remain silent. One must protest against the destructive mindset of the CJP. A counter-agitation is essential to safeguard democracy and freedom. Such funders target world leaders; they identify individuals arriving in the US for education, indoctrinate them with radical ideas, and then send them back to their home countries. The funding is intended to sow chaos and cause destruction. Even if they do not succeed, their actions impact the nation's development and governance. Modi served India for 25 years and has been elected Prime Minister three times. He will not yield to separatist forces in the US," Milben noted.
Milben is also a Hollywood actress. She has drawn applause for her renditions of "Jana Gana Mana" and "Om Jai Jagdish Hare." She sang "Jana Gana Mana" during Modi's 2023 visit to the U.S.
Meanwhile, Dipke took the opportunity and slammed PM Modi for humiliating the youngsters of the country with American nationals' support. Dipke also questioned why foreign nationals were interfering in India's internal affairs, asserting that the country is fully capable of handling its own issues.
