NEW DELHI: NEET cut-off for medical PG admission will continue to be zero. The Supreme Court rejected the petition filed by the lawyer challenging the decision of the Union Health Ministry. The lawyer approached the Supreme Court pointing out that the quality of medical education would decrease.

However, the petition was rejected because the decision of the Ministry of Health does not affect the petitioner. The 50th percentile for the general category has been reduced to zero. The decision was made following the availability of medical PG seats in the country. With this everyone will get access. The Tamil Nadu government had earlier come forward against making the NEET cut-off zero per cent.
