MUMBAI: Unidentified men fired gunshots at Bollywood star Tiger Shroff in Juhu, Mumbai, on Sunday. Reports indicate that the shots were fired by a three-member group arriving on a motorcycle. The actor narrowly escaped the incident unhurt. Tiger was returning from a football turf when the three individuals on the motorcycle opened fire. While the actor remained uninjured, his driver sustained a gunshot wound to his arm.
In an audio message that surfaced following the incident, the Lawrence Bishnoi gang claimed responsibility for the attack. They also issued threats against individuals in the film industry who work with Salman Khan. A person identifying himself as 'Anil Pandit' claimed in the audio message that the attack was carried out because Tiger Shroff had continued to work with Salman Khan, defying the instructions from the Bishnoi gang.
Mumbai police started an investigation to track down the perpetrators and determine the circumstances surrounding the shooting. They are also verifying the authenticity of the contents of the audio message.
