
JAIPUR: Eight people died, and 22 were injured in a bus-truck collision in Rajasthan's Dausa. The accident took place on the Delhi-Mumbai National Highway at around 3.30 am today.
The bus carrying 37 passengers from Rishikesh to Indore caught fire after colliding with an oncoming truck. The fire brigade immediately reached the spot and started rescue operations. The bus was completely charred in the accident.
According to official reports, eight people on the bus died on the spot. Some of the injured are said to be in critical condition. The bodies of six of the victims are kept at the district hospital. Police are investigating the incident.
