KOZHIKODE: It is suspected that the students accused of morphing and uploading photos of teachers in Perambra also targeted classmates. Police plan to expand the investigation, suspecting there may be more victims. The students responsible for morphing the images have been barred from attending school, and reports indicate they will soon be suspended.

The morphed images were circulated via Telegram. Details of the incident, which occurred in July, only came to light recently. It was other students who reported the matter to the school authorities after seeing morphed images of their teachers online. The motive behind the morphing remains unclear. An investigation is also underway to determine which apps or tools were used to create the images.
