19-year-old found dead with severe burns at grandma’s house in Palakkad

PALAKKAD: A 19-year-old youth was found dead with burns at Kanjirapuzha in Mannarkkad. The dead is Akhil, son of Ramesh and Mallika of Kanjiram Ambamkadavu. He was found dead with burns at his grandma’s house.

It is suspected that the incident happened last night. No one was at home at the time of the incident. When his family called him on the phone, he did not pick up and when they came home found him lying dead. The police arrived and conducted a preliminary investigation. The police informed that a detailed investigation into the incident is underway.
