KANNUR: A case was registered against an SFI leader for allegedly filming a woman bathing on his mobile phone. The complaint is against Navneet, a university union councillor at Paisakary Devamata College. The woman filed a complaint with the Home Minister after the accused was arrested under a trivial section and released on station bail.

The woman alleged that the police action is tantamount to denying her justice. The woman demands that the police take strict action in the matter. The incident in question took place on the 20th of this month. As per the complainant, she noticed someone filming the visuals inside the bathroom. Hearing the screams, her relatives caught Navneet, who was lurking nearby.
