THIRUVANANANTHPAURAM: The government has announced a crime branch investigation into the irregularities noticed in the Public Service Commission (PSC). Home Minister Ramesh Chennithala said that he has asked to complete the investigation as soon as possible. He was speaking to the media in Thiruvananthapuram.

‘This is the biggest corruption Kerala has ever seen. This is the most serious mistake. All the unemployed place their trust in the PSC, but during the tenure of the previous government, the focus was on how the PSC could be misused. What we are seeing now is the result of that. Those responsible for this will not escape under any circumstances. Strong action will be taken once the report is received,’ said the minister. Chief Minister VD Satheesan had earlier assured that the credibility of the PSC would be restored.
