KOCHI: The Enforcement Directorate (ED) has frozen assets worth Rs 18.36 crore following raids conducted across the state in connection with the CMRL-Exalogic case. The frozen assets include a fixed deposit of Rs 1.5 lakh belonging to Veena Vijayan. The agency also froze deposits in 242 bank accounts linked to CMRL and company officials.

The ED said the move was based on documents recovered during the raid. The agency also stated that it would investigate the people named in CMRL records for allegedly receiving monthly payments and bribes. Several electronic devices, digital evidence, fake documents, account details, and information related to other investments were also seized during the raid. A detailed examination of these materials has now begun.
