Firework accident during Feast Day celebration; tragic end to one

THRISSUR: One person died after a firecracker exploded during the Feast Day celebration. The incident took place in Mala, Thrissur. The deceased was identified as Francis of Parekkadan House, a native of Thanissery.

The accident occurred at St. Xavier's Church in South Thanissery. Following the incident, Francis was taken to a private hospital in Mala, but his life could not be saved.
