Heavy rainfall most likely in coming days; yellow alert in districts including Ernakulam

THIRUVANANTHAPURAM: The Indian Meteorological Department warned of rain in the state in the coming days. The rain might return to the state on Sunday. A yellow alert was issued in the northern districts of Kozhikode, Kannur and Kasaragod on Sunday. There is a possibility of heavy rain in isolated places in these districts.

A yellow alert has been issued in five districts of Pathanamthitta, Kottayam, Idukki, Ernakulam and Thrissur on the 24th of this month. These districts are advised to be vigilant as they are likely to receive 64.5 mm to 115.5 mm of rain in 24 hours.
