Indian student from Kerala dies in road accident in Dubai's Rashidiya

DUBAI: A 21-year-old Indian student from Kerala died in a road accident in Dubai's Rashidiya area on Thursday evening. The deceased has been identified as Naifa Balqees, a native of Thodupuzha in Kerala.

According to her relatives, the accident occurred when Naifa was getting out of a car and was struck by another vehicle. The exact circumstances of the accident have not been independently confirmed.

Naifa was the daughter of Binu Hameed, a businessman based in Dubai, and Zeena. Arrangements are under way to repatriate her body to Kerala.
