The locals were stunned to learn about a strange wedding between a man and his alleged mother-in-law. It is reported that the man decided to marry his mother-in-law in court following a dispute with his wife.

The video of the marriage at the court went viral on social media in no time, with many expressing shock and remarking on it as scandalous. Meanwhile, some sections remarked it as 'just another day in Kanpur'.

The incident took place in the Akbarpur area. As per reports from local media, the man was married for several years but also went through occasional quarrels with his wife. The fight between them recently crossed a threshold level, leaving the couple with no option but to part ways.

During this time, the youngster is alleged to have got close to his mother-in-law. Neighbours said the two were together for a long time.

Police have not yet received any complaints regarding the marriage. The video of both of them proudly displaying their marriage certificate has gone viral on social media. There is still ambiguity about the exact date on which they married.
