Youngster hangs self at home, sister dies hours later at hospital; Heartbreaking incident in Thrissur

KODUNGALLUR: Siblings died in a turn of tragic incidents in Kadalayi Road, Karumathra in Thrissur. Suma (26) and her brother Sarath (22), children of Kalathiparambil Surendran and Sindhu, died within a few hours' gap on Friday. Suma, a computer lab instructor in Kochi, was undergoing treatment following a stroke at Thrissur Medical College Hospital.

Sarath, who visited his sister in hospital, learned about the critical state Suma was going through and instantly returned home. The family later found him hanging inside the house. Hours after Sarath’s death, his sister Suma died while undergoing treatment.

The family was staying at a rented house in Pullut in Thrissur. Sarath was an employee at a private firm in Perumbavoor. The incident happened on Friday.
