MUMBAI: Police in Maharashtra's Latur district have registered a case against Cockroach Janta Party (CJP) convenor Abhijeet Dipke and others for allegedly entering a government school without permission, disrupting official work and threatening teachers. The FIR was registered at the Ausa police station based on a complaint filed by Sayyed Shamshadbano Khairatali, a teacher at a Zilla Parishad Urdu school in Jawali near Ausa.

According to the complaint, Dipke and his associates entered the school without permission on August 20 as part of the CJP's 'School Thik Karo' campaign. They allegedly sat among students and asked them questions, causing obstruction to educational and government work. The complaint further alleged that Dipke filmed the proceedings at the school and shared the footage on social media.

It also alleged that Dipke claimed students from another school had been brought to the school and made to sit in classrooms during his visit. The complaint further alleged that he threatened to have teachers suspended. Police have registered the case under relevant provisions of the Bharatiya Nyaya Sanhita, including sections relating to obstructing a public servant in the discharge of official duty, house trespass, criminal intimidation and criminal defamation. Further investigation is underway.
