54-year-old woman dies of fever in Kozhikode, sample collected for Shigella testing

KOZHIKODE: The state recorded yet another death due to fever on Saturday. Sunitha (54), a native of Mavoor Parammal, died this morning. Sunitha was first taken to a private hospital in Kozhikode after contracting a fever. She was shifted to Kozhikode Medical College Hospital after her diarrhoea and fever worsened. Samples have been collected for Shigella testing. The results are not yet available.
