Suresh Gopi accompanies widow of late congress leader to temple

KANNUR: Union Minister and actor Suresh Gopi accompanied the wife of late Congress leader K P Unnikrishnan after she was reportedly unable to undertake a temple visit to Kottiyoor. The gesture drew attention as Suresh Gopi personally ensured that she could complete the temple darshan, offering support and assistance during the visit.

The incident has been widely noted as a humanitarian gesture that transcended political affiliations, with many appreciating Suresh Gopi's willingness to stand by the family of a leader from a rival political party.

Amritha, wife of the late leader, had arrived at the Kottiyoor Temple last Sunday. However, due to the heavy rush, she could not pray and have to leave from there.

When Suresh Gopi visited K P Unnikrishnan’s house in Panniyankara as part of contact programme to mark the completion of 12 years of Prime Minister Narendra Modi, she had shared her grief of not getting an opportunity to pray at the temple. Suresh Gopi immediately promised to make arrangements for her darshan.
