Two 16-year-old POCSO case survivors reported missing

PALAKKAD: Two 16-year-old POCSO case survivors have been reported missing. They went missing from a shelter home in Palakkad Monday night. The girls went missing from the centre located at Chandra Nagar in Palakkad, which is owned by a private trust and functions under the supervision of the government.

One of the girls is a survivor in the case registered at the Kollengode police station, while the other is a survivor in the case registered at the Mankara police station.

The Kasaba police have registered a case and launched an investigation into the incident.

Three girls had gone missing from the same shelter home a few months ago. However, they were traced on the same day itself.
