Woman dies in bike-lorry collision in Kumbazha

PATHANAMTHITTA: A woman died in an accident at Kumbazha in the district. She has been identified as Usha Kumari of Pulimukku in Konni. The scooter losing control hit the rear side of the Taurus lorry, causing Usha Kumari to fall under the scooter. She was going to the temple with her husband and was riding pillion on the scooter. The accident happened on the road going to Malayalapuzha from Kumbazha.

She died on the spot after the rear wheel of the lorry ran over her. Her husband escaped without any injuries. Her body has been shifted to Pathanamthitta General Hospital.
