Thiruvananthapuram woman slits daughter's throat to death, arrested

THIRUVANANTHAPURAM: In a horrific crime, a woman killed her one-and-a-half-year-old daughter by slitting her throat. The incident, which has shocked the local community, took place at Vilavoorkkal in Thiruvananthapuram. Anna, the daughter of the couple Abhijith and Christy, was murdered. The child was brought to the hospital with her throat slit; although she was initially taken to the Primary Health Centre in Vilavoorkkal, the doctors reported her brought dead. Reports indicate that family issues led to the murder. The Malayinkeezhu police arrived at the scene and took the mother into custody.
