Exit poll predicts third term for Narendra Modi; BJP to open account in Kerala

NEW DELHI: Exit poll results predict that Prime Minister Narendra Modi will come to power for the third time. Various exit polls say that the NDA alliance will get more than 350 seats. According to the India Today-Axis My India survey, the NDA alliance will get 359 seats. INDIA alliance will win 154 seats. Others are predicted to win 30 seats.

The exit poll results came out soon after the final phase of voting for the Lok Sabha elections came to an end yesterday. Most surveys are predicting that the BJP, which targeted more than 400 seats, will come to power for the third consecutive time by winning more than 350 seats. Meanwhile, the Congress will get more seats than what it got in 2019. The Congress-CPM alliance will not win a single seat in West Bengal. According to all three surveys, the BJP will surpass the Trinamool Congress to become the state's largest single party.

States such as Karnataka, Maharashtra, West Bengal, Delhi, Madhya Pradesh and Gujarat will be the foundation of the BJP's victory. UP will also favour the NDA. In Delhi, the BJP will retain all seven seats by overpowering the Congress-AAP alliance.

According to the Republic TV survey, NDA will get 353 to 359 seats. Zee Poll survey predicts 353 to 359 seats for NDA, 133 seats for INDIA alliance and 72 seats for others.

According to the India Today-Axis My India exit poll survey, the INDIA Front will get 26 to 30 seats in Tamil Nadu and the NDA will get 1 to 3 seats. Others are predicted to get 6 to 8 seats.

In Andhra Pradesh, where the assembly elections were held, the TDP-led NDA is likely to come to power by defeating YSR Congress.

ABP News survey results say that LDF will not get even a single seat in Kerala. ABP News predicts that the UDF will win between 17 and 19 seats and the NDA between one and three seats. According to the survey, BJP candidate Suresh Gopi will win in Thrissur.

LDF is predicted to win four seats in Kerala according to Times Now's exit poll results. Times Now predicts that the UDF will win 14 to 15 seats and the NDA will win one. NDA is predicted to win in Thrissur.

According to India Today-Axis Me India survey results, NDA will win one seat in Kerala. India Today predicts that Rajeev Chandrasekhar will win in Thiruvananthapuram. UDF is predicted to win 17 to 18 seats and LDF to win one seat.

India TV - CNX's survey results are also in favour of UDF. UDF is likely to win 13 to 15 seats. LDF is predicted to win three to five seats and the NDA one to three seats.

Jan Ki Baat predicts that UDF will have an upper hand in Kerala. UDF is predicted to win 14 to 17 seats and LDF three to five seats. Jan Ki Baat predicts that the BJP is expected to win zero to one seat.
