Iran-Israel war: Flights from Kerala may be diverted or delayed

THIRUVANANTHAPURAM: The Gulf region is experiencing high tension following intense reciprocal airstrikes involving Israel, the US, and Iran. Iran, Israel and the UAE have closed their airspace. Iran has attacked American military bases in various Gulf countries. The Thiruvananthapuram airport authorities have issued a warning to international air travelers at this time.

'Due to the temporary closure of the airspace and restrictions imposed in multiple international airspaces, some international flights may be delayed or diverted. Passengers are advised to check the flight status of their respective airlines before leaving for the airport and plan their travel accordingly. Thank you for your cooperation.' Thiruvananthapuram International Airport authorities have clarified.

An Air India flight that departed from Delhi for Tel Aviv in Israel, has landed in Mumbai. Air India officials said that the flight is being diverted to India due to the closure of the airspace.
