'Come to JP Nadda's office or residence': Union Minister invites CJP leaders for talks

NEW DELHI: The Centre has invited representatives of the Cockroach Janata Party (CJP), who are continuing their protest in Delhi over the alleged NEET examination irregularities, for talks. Union Minister Jitendra Singh said the government is ready to hold discussions with the protesters. He said the meeting can be held either at the office or residence of Union Health Minister J.P. Nadda.

Jitendra Singh said the government has put forward four proposals for the talks. He said it is willing to discuss any issue at a time convenient for the protesters and stressed that it does not view the matter as an issue of prestige. He also confirmed that both he and J.P. Nadda would personally attend the meeting.

The minister said the issue could be resolved through step-by-step dialogue and added that the proposed talks are part of the Centre's continued efforts to safeguard the welfare of students.

Meanwhile, CJP spokesperson Ashutosh Ranka said the government approached the party through the New Delhi Deputy Commissioner of Police (DCP). However, he said discussions are still underway over the venue, as the party wants the meeting to be held at a neutral location.
