Woman taken to graveyard and forced to consume human bone powder by in-laws to conceive child

MUMBAI: A complaint was raised that a woman was forced to eat human bone powder by her in-laws and husband to conceive a child as per the advice of a sorcerer. Pune police have registered a case against seven people including her husband and his relatives based on her complaint.

The woman filed a complaint reagrding two matters. The woman's first complaint is that the husband's family had taken dowry including cash, gold and silver ornaments during the wedding in 2019. The complainant also states that she was subjected to many blackmagic rituals. On Amavasi days, the young woman used to perform bad spells at home. They took her to the graveyard and made her eat human bone powder. Also, they took her to an unknown place in Konkan, Maharashtra and performed ‘Aghori’ practice under a waterfall there. The woman's complaint states that such things were done as per the instructions given by the sorcerer through video call. The police said that the in-laws were well-educated and yet they practiced Blackmagic.

The police stated that a case has been registered and an investigation has started in the incident. The search for the accused is in progress. The police also added that they have started the process to find the graveyard where the black magic took place.
